Monitor HP 24": non mi vanno le risoluzioni a 1920x1200

Aiuto ho un monitor appena comprato hp lp 2465 ho una ati xt1950 500mhz che mi soddisfa parecchio e un pentium core duo 6700 e 2 gb di ram tutti i giochi mi camminano bene solo che con alcuni giochi come
prey , quake 4 , fear e altri non mi escono le risoluzioni a 1900x1200 ho provato come mi hanno consigliato a mettere nelle impostazioni di prey per esempio 16:10 o 16:9 ma mi arriva nella schermata delle impostazioni del gioco al massimo a 1600 anche in fear e in quake che nervoso si perde un sacco da 1600 a 1920 perche non mi compaiono le altre risoluzioni su questi giochi che ho visto avere la possibilita' sui forum (i test le prove) di arrivare anche a risoluzioni piu' alte???? sono disperato ho cercato in tutti i posti ma non risolvo il problema aiutatemi spiegandomi come fare dettagliatamente per favore.
Con altri giochi come tomb raider , oblivion , king kong ecc tutto ok mi esce 1920x1200 e tutto e' ok .
Come devo fare aiutoooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Se la risoluzione del gioco non prevede quella risoluzione nel menù con le Impostazioni Video non vedo il modo di "forzarla" (se è questo che intendi)...

Certo Che Il Gioco Puo' Girare A 1920x1200 Solo Che A Me Non Mi Esce Ma Se Guardi Fear Quake 4 E Questi Giochi Camminano Tranquillamente A Quelle Risoluzioni Basta Che Guardi I Test Anzi Anche Di Piu' Ho Bisogno Qualcuno Che Se Ne Intenda

kele l avevo gia' fatto , ma non mi escono lo stesso in nessuno dei giochi elencati le modalita' 1920x1200 , ma perche' non capisco cosa c'e qual'e' il motivo sembra che i giochi elencati non riconoscano che il mio monitor supporta benissimo questa risoluzione non c'e' qualche ESPERTO che se ne intenda per davvero sto uscendo pazzo

scusate una domanda nessuno sa' indicarmi un posto dove posso rivolgermi per risolvere questo problema che per me' e' molto importante avere un monitor da 24 e non poter usare gli ultimi titoli a 1920 e' il colmo
tra l altro titoli come gli ultimi fear , quake 4 , prey titoli eccezzionali che so' per certo supportino tali risoluzioni e con la mia scheda ela memoria e il processori andrebbero una meraviglia un vero peccato aiutoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

non è il monitor che ha problemi, nemmeno il pc i driver o quello che volete ...il problema sono i giochi....

in molti giochi (quasi tutti) ci sono le risoluzioni di default che arrivano al massimo a 1600 x 1200 .in altri, il formato 16:10 non è previsto ( sempre di default)

comunque non è detto che non ci possano andare ........ spesso il problema si puo aggirare
in questo caso bisogna usare dei "barbatrucchi" e bisogna impostare dei parametri manualmente.che possono variare da gioco a gioco.....


come fare ?

se non trovate in quel forum provate a chiedere nei forum dedicati ai videogiochi....... dove è piu facile trovare una risposta....

grazie mille pero' non so' come fare qua mi dice di cambiare i parametri nella cartella preyconf.cfg solo che il pc non me la apre perche mi chiede con quale programma ???? come si fa'????
qualche esperto mi sa' aiutare ???

Notes:
Game appears to set FOV automatically & correctly. There is no FOV file in the config.

Prey Config Files

Although you can alter many variables by entering them into the console, most command variables need to be set each and every time you start Prey. This is because the game engine resets these variables to their default state as the engine initializes at startup. By default, when the game engine starts, it automatically detects the presence of, and runs the command variables from two specific files: Preyconfig.cfg and Autoexec.cfg. Preyconfig.cfg already exists in your \Program Files\Human Head Studios\Prey\base directory, and you can edit it using a text editor like Windows WordPad or Notepad. However changing some of the settings in Preyconfig.cfg will see them reset to default values again the next time you restart Prey. So the best thing to do is create a new text file, rename it to Autoexec.cfg (not Autoexec.cfg.txt) and place it in your \Program Files\Human Head Studios\Prey\base directory. You can now enter all your custom tweaks and settings into this file, and they will come into effect automatically each and every time you start Prey. This makes it easier to keep track of what you have tweaked, and if at any time you want to remove all your tweaks, you can simply delete this Autoexec.cfg file, or see which commands need to have their values manually reset to the default.

Note that there is another way of executing a config file, and that is to firstly create a config file with any name you wish, e.g. MyTweaks.cfg, place it in the \Program Files\Human Head Studios\Prey\base directory, and then in the Prey console at any time type:

exec MyTweaks.cfg

This will run all the command variables in your new .cfg file, however unless you actually execute this file it will not be automatically run at startup time - only Preyconfig.cfg and Autoexec.cfg are automatically detected and run by Prey.

siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ragazzi funziona su prey basta cambiare i parametri nella cartella e vola a 1920x1200 e' super che felicita' a quelle risoluzioni e con il mio 24 6 ms e' uno sballo va' senza uno scatto super e' il massimo
grazie tantissimo ero disperato ma a tutto c'e' una soluzione e ho imparato anche come modificare le impostazione che credevo fisse
si puo' forzare basta sapere come fare e fa' anche rima.............

Cerco che è assurdo che per impostare delle risoluzioni maggiori bisogna andare a modificare i file di config. dei giochi.......
