Ciao, dire la verità non sapevo se era meglio mettere questo post sulla sezione di videogiochi o Linux ma essendo che per l'appunto il problema mi viene su Debian pensavo che era meglio metterlo in questa sezione. Era da un pò che volevo trovare altri FPS Arena o almeno FPS multiplayer e una cosa che non sapevo che era stato rilasciato anche gratuitamente Unreal Tournament 4 anche per Linux, quindi l'ho scaricato e ho seguito tutte le istruzioni per poterci giocare ma quando cerco di farlo partire con il comando da terminale
"/home/user/Games/LinuxNoEditor/Engine/Binaries/Linux/UE4-Linux-Shipping UnrealTournament" mi da questo errore "The game module 'Unreal Tournament' could not be loaded. There may be an operating system error or the module may not be properly set up", c'è un modo di risolvere la questione? Ho letto un pò di forum soprattutto stranieri per capire cosa potesse consistere questo problema, ho letto che alcuni altri utenti che usano Windows hanno avuto lo stesso errore e hanno scritto che era un problema di alcuni dll ma essendo che uso Linux di certo non è questo il mio problema. Altri forum hanno consigliato di spostare la cartella di gioco che ho provato anch'io senza risultati. Voi avuto qualche consiglio da darmi? Grazie in anticipo!

Penso di avere capito il problema leggendo vari forum, cioè che mi crasha Unreal Engine, il motore grafico del gioco ma non capisco come non farlo crashare, io ho ce l'ho installati i driver proprietari della scheda video

Ho risulto il problema e adesso il gioco mi parte. Ho trovato un post sul forum ufficiale di unreal tournament con un utente che aveva lo stesso problema e un'altro utente gli ha consigliato di installare libgconf2-4 (ovviamente se hai Debian o Ubuntu "apt install libgconf2-4"), lo installato anch'io e il gioco mi funziona perfettamente ma se vuoi giocare anche tu, ti avverto che il gioco è molto pesante se non hai un computer abbastanza moderno.

Io ho solo fatto qualche tutorial del gioco perché ho dovuto uscire, quindi non posso giudicarlo, tanto che perfino pensavo che non mi andasse molto bene perché alla prima apertura del gioco mi andava a scatti, c'è voluto tempo prima che mi aprisse la prima partita e mi faceva andare il computer "a mille" ma quando ho fatto il primo riavvio del computer dopo la prima apertura del gioco, mi è andato molto fluido il gioco e perfettamente giocabile, perché quando l'ho aperto avevo alcuni software aperti, già questo è un pregiudizio del gioco che comunque è pesante e devo lasciare molto libera la ram e ho le impostazione grafiche del gioco basse ma non così pesante che avevo pensato prima. Faccio qualche partita e poi deciderò se farne altre o buttarlo nel cestino
