Intel non ha solo rinnovato la gamma di CPU desktop, introducendo i Core i3 e i Pentium basati su architettura Haswell, ma ha anche dato una rinfrescata alla lineup mobile, presentando moltissime soluzioni distribuite a seconda delle specifiche nelle famiglie Celeron, Pentium, Core i3, i5 e i7.
Celeron 2950M, Celeron 2955U, Celeron 2980U, Pentium 3550M, Pentium 3556U e Pentium 3560Y sono tutti processori dual-core con Hyper-Threading disattivato e 2 MB di cache L3 destinati a notebook sottili e a basso consumo, ma anche a design ibridi (come nel caso di tutte le soluzioni "Y") utili per portare avanti le operazioni base.
La gamma Core i3 si compone di processori dual-core con Hyper-Threading e supporto alle istruzioni AVX/AVX2, mentre solo il modello 4100M supporta le istruzioni AES. Core i3-4012Y e Core i3-4020Y si candidano a essere usati in design ibridi - cioè tablet/notebook -per il settore business.
Tra i modelli Core i5 e Core i7, che non si fanno mancare non solo l'Hyper-Threading, ma anche il Turbo Boost, troviamo tre soluzioni per gli amanti delle prestazioni, anche in movimento. Core i5-4330M e Core i5-4200H riescono ad arrivare una frequenza rispettivamente di 3.5 e 3.4 GHz, all'interno di un TDP di 47 e 37 watt.

Il vero "big boss" però è il Core i7-4960HQ, un quad-core capace di lavorare a 2.6 / 3.8 GHz, dotato di 6 MB di cache L3 e GPU HD 5200, meglio conosciuta come Iris Pro 5200 o GT3e, dove la "e" sta per eDRAM. Il quadro è davvero completo: processori per ogni segmento di mercato, in modo da sostenere non solo il tradizionale comparto dei notebook, in crisi, ma anche quello dei "design ibridi" a cavallo tra tablet e portatile, rigorosamente dotati di sistema operativo Windows 8.
