ForceWare Rev 80: le novità in arrivo

Nella rete da alcuni giorni circolano i driver Forceware 81.26 Beta, primi driver della prossima generazione di release Revision 80.

VR-Zone mostra alcuni test che mettono in mostra le prestazioni dei nuovi driver in campo SLI e Dual Core. Di seguito alcuni test:

Vedendo questi test possiamo notare come vi sia un miglioramento in test sintetici come 3DMark05 con sistemi Dual Core e configurazione Dual Card SLI. In DooM 3 invece notiamo risultato simili nel confronto tra processori Single e Dual Core, ma un gran boost prestazionale rispetto ai driver 77.72.

Ecco inoltre una lista dei futuri cambiamenti previsti con la Rev 80 dei driver ForceWare:

NVIDIA SLI – more features and capabilities

  • Ability to use graphics cards from different vendors and use with different memory sizes

  • Dynamic SLI enabling/disabling

  • Auto display detection in SLI mode

  • Primary display switching in SLI
