Il Core i5-8400 garantisce fps medi il 17% maggiori rispetto al Core i5-7600K. AMD non è così competitiva in questo titolo, anche se pensiamo che Ryzen 5 1600X e 1500X overcloccati siano un buon abbinamento per le schede video di fascia media di molti giocatori.

Hitman vede il Core i5-8400 davanti a tutti eccetto il Core i5-8600K. Non avremmo bisogno di citare percentuali per illustrare i miglioramenti di Coffee Lake, ma lo facciamo lo stesso: il Core i5-8400 è davanti al 7600K del 40% e batte il 7400 di ben il 54%.

Shadow of Mordor

Il 7600K e il 7400 hanno frequenze base maggiori dei corrispettivi Coffee Lake e questo è un vantaggio nei giochi che non beneficiano molto del Turbo Boost. Shadow of Mordor rientra in quella categoria e perciò i Kaby Lake hanno prestazioni leggermente superiori ai nuovi Core i5-8600K e 8400.
