Toshiba ha annunciato l'arrivo di un masterizzatore HD DVD per notebook. Questo prodotto, chiamato Toshiba SD-L912A, può leggere e scrivere DVD a singolo e doppio layer, nonchè eseguire le stesse operazioni su DVD e CD. Il Toshiba SD-L912A è indirizzato solamente ai produttori di computer.
