Creative mette a disposizione nuovi driver per l'ultima serie di prodotti Sound Blaster X-Fi, disponibili nei modelli XtremeMusic, Platinum, Fatal1ty e Elite Pro.
Creative è da tempo impegnata nella risoluzione di alcuni problemi di audio che emette "crepitii e scoppiettii" con le schede SoundBlaster X-Fi. Questi driver vanno a risolvere alcuni di questi problemi, ma non tutti. Creative ha più volte affermato che il problema non è completamente suo e a tal proposito sta lavorando con i produttori di schede madri per arrivare a una soluzione definitiva.
