ATi ha rilasciato l'undicesima versione dell'anno dei driver Catalyst per schede video Radeon. La novità principale di questa versione è rappresentata dal supporto software su Windows XP e x64 a ogni combinazione CrossFire ottenuta con due schede video X1900 o due schede video X1950, ad eccezione del modello X1950 Pro.
Tra i miglioramenti prestazionali ATi segnala un incremento delle prestazioni in Call of Duty 2 del 12.5% alla risoluzione video di 1900x1200 e circa il 10.5% a 1280x1024 in configurazioni CrossFire Radeon X1900. Miglioramenti ulteriori si avrebbero a condizione che l'antialiasing sia abilitato e impostato a 4x.
