Nella giornata di ieri Apple ha rilasciato iTunes 7.1 e QuickTime 7.1.5, due software popolari per sistemi Windows e Mac. Tra le novità incluse citavamo il supporto all'ormai imminente Apple TV, il dispositivo multimediale da salotto, capace di riprodurre i contenuti in streaming da vari dispositivi. Qualche attento osservatore ha spulciato il codice del programma, con la speranza di rintracciare novità non ancora annunciate: morale della favola? Le ha scovate!

Come vedete si parla chiaramente di giochi su Apple TV, una possibilità ventilata nelle scorse settimane e mai confermata/smentita dall'azienda. Questa nuova indiscrezione rafforza la possibilità di vedere l'Apple TV ritagliarsi un piccolo spazio tra le tre console di nuova generazione. Rimane l'interrogativo sui contenuti: chiarendo che riteniamo impossibile che possa raggiungere il livello grafico delle console, l'alternativa più papabile è che diventi una stazione per i casual games dei tempi andati.
