Activision ha svelato l'intera tracklist di DJ Hero, che si compone di 93 mix esclusivi creati da alcuni dei più grandi DJ di tutti i tempi. A partire dal 30 ottobre, i DJ in erba potranno diventare l'anima della festa direttamente dal salotto di casa insieme a celebri DJ come DJ AM, Cut Chemist, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Jazzy Jeff, J. Period, DJ Shadow e DJ Z-Trip ed eseguire tracce da JAY-Z ad Eminem; dai Daft Punk ai Black Eyed Peas; da Rihanna ai The Killers; da Kid Cudi a Gwen Stefani, da Marvin Gaye ai Beastie Boys.
Gli utenti si diletteranno con il controller a forma di piatto, che permette di destreggiarsi tra le varie tecniche del DJ tra cui quella dello scratching, del blending, del beat matching e del sampling.
In commercio ci sarà anche la Renegade Edition di DJ Hero featuring JAY-Z e Eminem include una copia del gioco, un controller a forma di piatto da DJ in versione premium, una valigetta rigida porta piatto che si trasforma in una postazione da DJ e un esclusivo doppio CD di JAY-Z ed EMINEM contenente il "best of" così come nuovo inedito materiale.
