Sony cerca di correre ai ripari e abbassa il prezzo della Playstation 3 da 20 GB in Giappone a 49.980 yen. In dollari l'equivalente sarebbe di 430 dollari. Ribassi anche negli States? Non è al momento stato comunicato ufficialmente. Per noi europei ci sarà ancora molto da aspettare e quindi Sony non si è esposta in proposito.

(SCEI) today announced that PLAYSTATION(R)3 (PS3) with 20GB hard disk drive (HDD) will come equipped with HDMI(*) (Ver 1.3/supporting Deep Color) output asstandard with the system. PS3 with 20GB HDD will become available in Japan ata new recommended retail price of 49,980 yen (tax included). Since SCEI first announced product specifications of PS3 at the ElectronicEntertainment Expo (E3) in May 2005, demand for enjoying full HD quality imageand realistic digital sound through HDMI has grown tremendously. Sony equipaggerà quindi la Playstation 3 da 20 GB con l'uscita HDMI, particolare non previsto nei primi annunci.
