I 64 bit prendono sempre più piede, ora che è stato prensentato Windows x64 e Intel ha raggiunto AMD nel supporto. Manca solo il supporto software sia nel campo delle applicazioni e driver che nel campo ludico. Crytek, la software house del pluripremiato FarCry, rilascia una patch per i 64-Bit su cpu AMD Athlon 64. Oltre a migliorare il dettaglio del gioco, questa patch aggiunge nuove aree di gioco e nuovi livelli Multiplayer non presenti nella versione a 32-Bit di Far Cry.
Per poter scaricare l'aggiornamento è necessaria registrazione.
Le dimensioni del download sono consistenti, 500MB per l'aggiornamento e 432MB per i contenuti aggiuntivi.
Far Cry 64-Bit Additions/ Enhancements:
