PlayStation 3 uscirà in Europa il 23 marzo prossimo, alla cifra di 599 euro. Ovviamente, la tariffa riguarda solo il modello da 60 GB, l'unico che sarà disponibile il giorno del lancio. La controparte da 20 GB, infatti, potrebbe arrivare nei mesi successivi solo se la richiesta sarà sufficientemente elevata (il tutto, a quanto pare, avrà lo stesso effetto in Italia).
Buone notizie, invece, sul fronte della disponibilità, in quanto la divisione europea di Sony ha annunciato ben 1 milione di sistemi per il 23, giusto per evitare di ripetere le brutte figure già rimediate in occasione dei lanci negli States e in Giappone.
Per quanto riguarda le periferiche, Sony ha fissato un prezzo di 49.99 Euro per un pad Sixaxis aggiuntivo, mentre il cavo HDMI sarà venduto a 24.99 Euro. Stesso identico prezzo per il telecomando Blu-ray, il cavo AV ed il cavo Component. Il cavo S-Video, invece, sarà offerto a 16.99 Euro. Per finire, uno sguardo alla line-up iniziale, costituita da ben oltre 30 titoli, alcuni dei quali interessanti anche per il successo del servizio online PlayStation Network, come Tekken: Dark Resurrection e Gran Turismo HD Concept.
