Sitema di prova per i benchmark di basso livello

Intel entra nel mercato dei dischi a stato solido con il modello X25-M. Abbiamo provato il modello da 80 GB, in attesa del disco ad alte prestazioni, X25-E. Abbiamo scoperto un SSD dalle prestazioni eccezionali, in particolare nella velocità in lettura e nelle prestazioni I/O. La tecnologia MLC, per la prima volta, fa meglio della SLC, grazie a cache, controller di memoria e tecnologia multi-channel. Sono in arrivo tempi duri, per i concorrenti.
