Configurazione di prova e software
Non sono moltissime le schede madre dotate di porta Thunderbolt oggigiorno. Per confrontare le prestazioni native di una scheda video PCI Express di fascia alta e quelle di Echo Express Pro su Thunderbolt, abbiamo usato un sistema desktop. Non avevamo a disposizione un portatile Windows con Thunderbolt, nonostante ce ne siano (pochi). Naturalmente potete aspettarvi risultati simili da una piattaforma mobile.
La MSI Z77A-GD80 con Thunderbolt integrato ci dà la connettività necessaria per procedere in questo testa a testa.
