L'azienda ha intenzione di vendere lo stepping C1, che i partner stanno ricevendo in questo momento; dovrebbe essere più scalabile. Perciò ricordatevi che questa è un'anteprima eseguita su hardware non definitivo.

Non ci siamo avventurati nell'overclock. Senza un dissipatore compatibile con il socket LGA 2011, è già stato difficile tenere al fresco il Core i7 3960X. Infatti non siamo riusciti a terminare una sessione stabile con test 3DS Max 2010 a impostazioni standard, il benchmark si chiudeva sempre. Tuttavia secondo le stime iniziali di una fonte fidata, la piattaforma sarebbe capace d'impostazioni BCLK oltre i 155 MHz con un processore dotato di moltiplicatore bloccato.
