L'Athlon 64 FX 53 segna una nuova frontiera: in molti benchmark fa mangiare polvere al Pentium 4 Extreme Edition di Intel. Inoltre, a differenza del predecessore FX-51, siamo stati in grado di overcloccare l'FX-53 senza adottare sistemi di raffreddamento proibitivi.
