Per ottenere un buon overclock della memoria è richiesta una buona scheda madre. Abbiamo usato una Asus P5E3 Premium, che è risultata la migliore nel nostro ultimo articolo comparativo.
Per testare la memoria più veloce a DDR3 -2000, DDR3-1666 e DDR3-1333 abbiamo cambiato il moltiplicatore della nostra CPU e la frequenza dell'FSB da 9x 333.3 MHz a 6x 500 MHz.
